Even though we pretty much loathe soccer and never watch it, we still find it terribly amusing that David Beckham isn't going to play in his planned debut against Chelsea on Saturday. He's injured, apparently, which is just perfect. Lost in all the mass hysteria of the Beckhams' "Coming to America," his insane contract, and his wife's TV show, is the fact that Beckham is, you know, unable to suit up. We somehow imagine this doesn't matter much to ESPN; nor does it appear to concern StubHub, who is still selling tickets to this game for $1,400.Friday, July 20, 2007
